The E2 Series printers are easy to integrate into a production environment as they connect to Raise3D's 3D printing software ecosystem, which includes the slicing software ideaMaker , the ideaMaker open software template library and management software RaiseCloud includes.
Based on the award-winning E2 3D printer, the E2 CF is designed for printing with fiber-reinforced materials and is optimized for carbon fiber. The Raise3D E2 CF 3D printer with IDEX dual extruder meets the needs of numerous industries, including automotive, aerospace and healthcare, that need to produce parts with a high strength-to-weight ratio and consistently high performance over long-term operation.
In addition to the most comprehensive ecosystem in the industry, including IdeaMaker slicing software and RaiseCloud print management platform, as well as the E2's most renowned features such as IDEX technology, flexible build plate, resume printing, door sensors and power saving mode, the E2 CF features:
Double gear extrusion:
With twice the pull-in gripping force compared to the E2 and made of hardened components that are specially optimized for the increased wear and tear when printing with fiber-reinforced filaments.
High performance nozzle and feeding system:
The extruders and nozzles are functionally and mechanically improved for long-term use, allowing over 1000 hours of printing with Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF filament.
Stand alone drying boxes:
To ensure a stable printing process, the Raise3D E2 CF 3D Printer with IDEX Dual Extruder is equipped with two self-contained sealed drying boxes, which are designed by Raise3D to handle the high water absorption of nylon and fiber-reinforced filaments. These dry boxes attach to the printer, allowing materials to be stored with minimal humidity during printing.
New supported automatic bed leveling process for fiber reinforced filaments:
Equipped with a high-precision optical sensor with improved nozzle height calibration accuracy for better first layer adhesion and printing performance.
Together with the Raise3D E2 CF 3D printer with IDEX dual extruder, the new Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF filament and its breakable support material will be launched. The PA12 CF (density = 1.04 g/cm3, Young's modulus = 3.3, GPa, tensile strength = 72 MPa, impact resistance = 12.5 kJ/m2) enables users to produce parts that meet the requirements of light weight, deliver accurate and durable high performance with a superior finish that requires little or no post-processing.
All of these properties make PA12 CF ideal for jigs and fixtures, construction tools and various industrial end-use parts. In addition to these materials, other high-performance filaments are in preparation for approval for use with the E2 CF.
