Fast and good

Thanks to the optimized transfer system and motion control algorithm, the Artisan offers a dimensional accuracy of ± 0.1 mm when printing at a high speed of 180 mm/s.

Preparing for the next step.

The dual extrusion 3D printing module also features a built-in motor that automatically switches between two extruders without the need to move the tool head or flip a switch. This enables faster and quieter dual extrusion 3D printing.

Printing of dissolvable support structures

Artisan is equipped with a dual extrusion 3D printing engine that supports PVA, HIPS and other dissolvable materials. Simply soak the print and the supports will dissolve, giving the model a smooth surface. Complex geometries are no longer a problem.

Break-away Support Pressure

Break-away filament offers the same support as regular materials, but is much easier to remove without the need for further post-processing.

Save time and energy with the zone-heated print bed

In the middle of the Artisan heatbed, there is a 260 × 260 mm high temperature zone (also called inner zone) that can reach 110 °C, while the maximum temperature of the outer zone is 80 °C. While the model is in the inner zone, which heats up to 60 °C in just 2-3 minutes, the outer zone is not heated, saving time and energy.

Calibrate in 3 easy steps

Artisan can automatically level the heatbed, calibrate the Z offset of the two extruders, and then calibrate the XY offset with a semi-automatic program. In just three steps, you can enjoy dual-material or dual-color prints with perfect adhesion and alignment.

Artisan's new build plate is made of glass with higher flatness, which ensures a smoother and better-adhering first layer. It consists of glossy glass on one side and a PEI coating on the other side, which helps the different filaments adhere.

Lasering

More powerful laser engraving and cutting.

With the latest 10W laser module, the Artisan is able to cut faster and deeper into more materials and create sophisticated laser engravings.

Comparison of 1.6 W and 10 W lasers

The 10 W laser module can engrave at a speed of up to 6000 mm/min and cut through wood up to 8 mm thick in one pass. For comparison: The cutting speed is up to eight times higher than that of the 1.6 W laser module.

It's not just about strength, but also about finesse

Thanks to the laser beam splitter and beam shaping optics, the laser module has a high power of 10 W and an ultra-fine laser focus (0.05 mm × 0.2 mm). This enables high-quality laser work with impeccable details.

Six times faster CNC machining

Compared to Snapmaker 2.0, the power of the Artisan's CNC module has been increased by 300% and the maximum spindle speed by 50%, making it 6 times faster when machining hardwoods such as beech.

0.2 mm dimensional accuracy

The highly rigid linear modules and high-speed spindle enable the CNC module to smoothly mill or cut various materials with a dimensional accuracy of up to 0.2 mm.
