PC or polycarbonate is one of the most advanced industrial thermoplastics that is extremely tough, durable and with great strength. PC is known for its high impact resistance and is often used to manufacture rigid parts. PC also has high heat resistance up to 110°C, making it the perfect replacement for metals in high temperature environments (e.g. under the hood in a vehicle). Parts printed with PC are predominantly used in later stages of functional testing and finished part assembly. Printed PC parts have been successfully used in manufacturing application with or without post-processing.
