The Kimya HIPS-R 3D filament belongs to the family of polystyrene filaments (HIPS = High Impact Polystyrene). This high impact polystyrene is a thermoplastic formulated from recycled materials. It has high impact and heat resistance. The filament can be used to manufacture high-quality components with high resilience. It has a very good density that allows liquids to be trapped without leakage. In addition, HIPS-R has a property that sets it apart from all other filaments: its solubility in D-Limonene.
