BCN3D Metal Pack
The BCN3D Metal Pack is a newly developed upgrade for the current Epsilon series, which opens up a new range of metal 3D printing applications for the user, especially for spare parts, functional prototypes and tools, and mainly addresses the pharmaceutical, food and , automotive, aerospace and manufacturing industries. Parts made with this process perform virtually the same as those made with MIM or CNC, providing an office-friendly solution with far more design freedom.
The BCN3D Metal Pack includes both Ultrafuse 316L and 17-4 PH as well as a new exclusive metal hotend and specific accessories to ensure a smooth printing process. BCN3D has developed a new metal printing profile for the BCN3D Stratos Slicer that avoids the internal stresses of the printed part during the printing process. After printing, the debinding and sintering processes can be performed externally using Forward AM's current network of service providers.
The Ultrafuse metal filament portfolio was developed based on BASF's decades of metal injection molding (MIM) know-how.
