Raise3D Industrial PET GF - glass fiber reinforced composite filament
Raise 3D Industrial PET GF is a glass fiber reinforced compound and filament solution based on polyethylene terephthalate . This filament offers unique properties that make it an ideal choice for printing glass fiber compounds and materials . The well - dispersed glass fibers increase the stiffness , strength , heat and chemical resistance of the PET matrix . Equipped with a tensile modulus and a strength of over 4.1 GPb or 70 MPa , PET GF achieves a heat resistance of about 120 ℃ after tempering . In addition , PET GF is characterized by high compressive strength , dimensional stability , creep strength and low moisture absorption , making it the ideal choice for strong and cost - effective end applications such as devices and functional parts .
- Low moisture absorption
- High dimensional stability
- Heat and chemical resistance
- Creep resistance
- Multiple colors
- Cost-effective
Compatibility: PET Support
Applications:
- Motor vehicles
- Parts for end users
- Jigs & Fixtures
- Manufacturing of tools
- Electrical and electronics industry (E&E)
Print settings:
Nozzle temperature (°C): 280-300Printing speed (mm/s): 35-90
Build platform temperature (°C): 80-100
Cooling Fan (%): On
Thickness of individual layers (mm): 0.1-0.25
Drying temperature (°C): 70 - 80
Printing notes:
- Dry PET GF at 70-80 °C for 8-12 hours before printing, as low moisture content is crucial for the quality of the printed part
- After drying, we recommend storing PET GF filaments in the Raise3D Filament Dry Box during the printing process.
- When printing PET GF, brass nozzle abrasion is common. Using an abrasion-resistant nozzle, such as a hardened steel or ruby nozzle, is highly recommended.
- After printing, it is recommended to cure the printed model in an oven at 80-100°C for 8-12 hours.
- For a small model (side length < 50 mm), annealing at 80℃ for 8 hours is recommended; for a medium-sized model (50 mm < side length < 150 mm), annealing at 80℃ for 12 hours is recommended; for a large model, annealing at 100°C for at least 12 hours is recommended.
- After annealing, a dimensional shrinkage of no more than 0.1% can be observed in the Z-axis, depending on the filling and layer height, and no significant dimensional shrinkage can be observed in the XY-axis.
- If PET GF is also used as a carrier material, please remove the carrier structure after annealing.
