Kimya PEI-1010 Filament
Enormously heat-resistant and dimensionally stable high-end 3D printing material from Kimya.
Kimya PEI-1010 filament is suitable for complex and demanding industrial applications.
Highlights:
- Very good UV resistance
- Especially abrasion resistant
- Excellent dimensional stability
The Kimya PEI-1010 filament is one of the high-performance polymers and is mainly used in industries such as the automotive sector or aerospace. PEI (polyetherimide) is one of the polyimides. The material is also often sold under the brand name "ULTEM". These are polymers with imide and ether groups in the main chains. Manufacturer of PEI, or ULTEM, is the Saudi Arabian group Sabic, which belongs to Saudi Aramco. Kimya PEI-1010 is also based on original Sabic ULTEM material. In practice, this material is characterized by improved mechanical properties. PEI-1010 is resistant to UV radiation, abrasion and solvents. At the same time, it has very good dimensional stability. In addition to high temperature resistance, it is also compatible with the UL94 V0 flame retardant certification.
