Magigoo PP 3D glue stick
This adhesive is designed for professional use to work exclusively with polypropylene filaments.
The part should be relatively easy to remove once it has cooled and the adhesive residue should also be easy to remove if the supplied procedure is followed.
WHY:
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer with properties such as good impact strength and ductility. It also has a relatively non-polar molecular structure that makes it chemically resistant, making it ideal for use in food packaging and medical devices. Indeed, in the adhesives industry it is well known that it is difficult to bond polyolefin materials to other types of materials. This in combination with the partial crystallinity makes it a particularly hard material to print on. Magigoo PP solves this problem and offers additional convenience for use in FDM 3D printing.
HOW:
MAGIGOO PP has been designed and tested to work with various brands of PP filament.
- Shake the bottle vigorously.
- Apply to the desired area by pressing the spring on the bed (activation of the inner valve) and spread as needed.
- Print according to the filament/printer manufacturer's recommendations.
- Allow to cool and remove - The part should be easier to remove after cooling sufficient. If the part is difficult to remove, a scraper should be used to facilitate part removal.
- Clean - Use a wet, stiff sponge to remove any adhesive residue. Once wet, the adhesive layer forms a white layer that can be easily sanded off with a sanding sponge. Once the layer has completely separated from the glass, it can be wiped off with a damp cloth and finally cleaned with a dry paper towel.
SECURITY:
This adhesive is intended for professional use. Contact with eyes will cause serious eye damage, wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling.
Tips:
For larger prints, a 20mm brim with multiple layers is recommended.
In case of excessive adhesion, it is recommended to wet the print bed with a small amount of water and slowly work it under the part, which should make part removal easier.
Attention: The 250ml bottles are used together with the coater .
