Ray is Snapmaker's first standalone 20W/40W laser engraver and cutter equipped with Air Assist and offering a 400mm x 600mm work area. It features Snapmaker's signature industrial-grade linear rails and continues our long-standing commitment to producing world-class laser products.

40W & 20W Laser Power

The embedded beamformers compress the laser spot of the individual laser diodes. The splitter then combines the laser beams of the eight laser diodes using state-of-the-art beam combining technology, resulting in higher energy density and output power.

Clean cut with Air Assist

Air Assist can be controlled via Luban, saving you the trouble of manually switching it on and off for different shifts.

Snapmaker's Signature Industrial Grade Linear Rails

As with the Artisan series, we use industrial-grade linear rails to ensure minimal wobble even during high-speed CNC machining. The same industrial-grade linear rails are also used in the Ray's XY axis to enable high-speed movement and long-lasting operation.

Luban offers an extensive library of preset templates, including common patterns, shapes and symbols, that allow you to create a design in minutes.

400mm × 600mm

Ray offers a working surface of 400mm × 600mm. With more space to design, you can realize large projects such as cards, furniture models and door signs. A cylindrical base can be attached not only to the machine but also to the laser bed, allowing you to work with a laser deposit of up to 160mm thick. Even thick objects such as guitars can easily be placed in it for engraving.

Class 1 safety enclosure

The enclosure for Ray can reduce the hazards of the laser from Class 4 to Class 1 and exhaust all the smoke and dust with its exhaust fan. The enclosure's door detection sensor ensures that Ray automatically stops the laser job when the door is opened.
