Kimya Conductive ABS Filament

Kimya ABS-EC (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Copolymer "Electrical Conductor") is a conductive filament with a Surface resistivity less than 10^6 R OHMS/SQ. This property allows components to be manufactured that can conduct electrical charges. Of course, this is still a plastic and not an active conductor. The material has a lower resistance than, for example, ABS-ESD (or comparable ESD filaments), but at the same time it is not as conductive as, for example, metal.

Advantages of Kimya ABS-EC Filament

  • With a surface resistance of less than 10^6 Ohm / Sq, the material offers high conductivity for plastic. This property can be used for technical components and other printed supports.
  • Kimya ABS-EC is based on standard ABS material. This means that the temperature resistance (90°C) is higher than comparable filaments based on PLA.
  • No compromises were made when it came to impact resistance either. The material is just as resilient and durable as other ABS filaments.

Applications of Kimya ABS-EC Filament

Kimya's conductive ABS-based 3D printing filament is suitable for various special applications in industry. With the material, for example simple conductor tracks, housing parts and also electronic holders press. In particular, in dual extrusion in combination with a non-conductive printing material, components can be made possible that cannot be produced using traditional manufacturing methods.
