Highlights:
Kimya TPC-91A is a flexible 3D printing material that belongs to the group of thermoplastic copolyester elastomers. 91A describes the Shore hardness of the filament. The material from the French manufacturer Kimya has particularly good properties in terms of tear strength and stretchability. The layer adhesion (layer bonding) is, as usual with flexible filaments, very good. In addition, the plastic can withstand abrasion, impact and certain chemicals. The filament can be printed well despite its soft properties. Bowden-style extruders such as the Ultimaker can also process this filament. Only the printing speed should be considered. The recommended values should not be exceeded for the best possible printing results.
The Kimya TPC-91A filament is often used for gaskets, grips or in sports shoes . The filament is a plastic that is mainly used for industrial applications. However, due to the easy printability, private users can of course also process the material intuitively.
