PET-G - Polyethylene terephthalate with glycol

Transparent grades are ideal for printing thin elements that you want light to transmit as much as possible.

PET is used to make fibers, tableware, bottles, packaging, small fittings and electronic device cases. PET fibers are used, among other things, to produce knitted and woven fabrics, e.g. B. ropes made of Polartec (fleece), Dacron and Tergal (e.g. for the production of canvas) are used.

For low shrinkage materials, it is recommended to use a heated stage to control the cooling process. The granules from which the filament is made have the ISO 10993 medical certificate . Thanks to this, the material can be in contact with the skin subcutaneously for more than 30 days and even up to 30 days.
