We are pleased to welcome WASP as a new partner for the specialty 3D printer segment.
WASP stands for World Advanced Saving Project , founded in 2012 by the Centro Sviluppo Progetti (CSP), an Italian company that mainly operates in the field of electronics and mechanics.
The company is particularly committed to issues relating to sustainability and energy efficiency in order to promote environmental protection worldwide with the help of additive manufacturing.
What makes WASP so special?
After specializing in the field of 3D printing, WASP developed the PowerWASP, a versatile, cost-effective and fast 3D printer that could even process ceramic materials .
WASP then focused on developing 3D printers in the delta design, which allows particularly high printing speeds to be achieved while simultaneously producing highly precise printing results . Another key advantage of WASP's delta 3D printers is their comparatively low power consumption during the printing process, meaning that this technology can also be used in developing countries with unregulated power supplies.
The manufacturer sets no limits when it comes to the dimensions of 3D printed products. The following video will give you an idea of what is already possible with WASP 3D printers:
In 2015, the BigDelta was realized, a 12 m high giant printer for building houses, and even entire villages using 3D printing.
In 2016, Wasp released the Maker Economy Starter Kit, a massive architectural-scale construction system enclosed in a single container that gives shape to a large, mobile 3D printing technology park.
In 2018, Wasp Crane released WASP, the infinite 3D printer , a collaborative 3D printing system that can print houses.Find out more about our range of WASP 3D printers . We will be happy to advise you on the respective models and also support you after the purchase to ensure that you work successfully with the various production systems.
